2 Tank Dive Charter with Fly To Fish Guide Service

Ready to spend a perfect morning underwater? Our 2 tank dive charter gives you the flexibility to either suit up for two full scuba dives or grab a mask and snorkel for some surface exploration – it's totally up to you and what you're comfortable with. This is a personalized, one-on-one experience where you get my full attention as your dive guide, making it perfect whether you're working on your skills, want to explore specific sites, or just prefer a more intimate diving experience without the crowds.

Beneath the Surface

This morning charter is all about giving you choices and making the most of our local dive conditions. We'll head out early when the water is typically at its calmest and visibility is prime. Since it's just you and me, we can tailor the whole experience to match your certification level, interests, and comfort zone. New to diving? We'll take our time, check your gear thoroughly, and I'll point out marine life you might miss on your own. Been diving for years? Great – tell me what you want to see and we'll make it happen. The beauty of a private charter is that we're not bound by a group's lowest common denominator. If you're feeling the snorkel vibe instead, no problem at all. Some of our best marine encounters happen right at the surface, and you'll cover way more ground floating above the reef than you would on scuba.

Dive Brief & Gear Info

Before we splash, we'll go over a proper dive brief covering our planned sites, current conditions, and safety protocols. I'll walk you through entry and exit procedures, point out any hazards or interesting features to look for, and make sure your gear is dialed in perfectly. All standard scuba equipment is provided – mask, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulator, and tank – but feel free to bring your own gear if you prefer. I always carry a full backup set just in case. For our two tank setup, we'll typically spend 45-60 minutes on the first dive depending on air consumption and conditions, surface for our safety interval where we can chat about what we saw, then drop down for round two. The second dive is usually shallower, giving us longer bottom time to really explore. If you opt for snorkeling instead, we'll hit multiple spots and I can free dive down to show you things up close while you enjoy the view from above.

Marine Life You'll See

Our local waters host an amazing variety of marine species that change with the seasons and dive sites we choose. Grouper are always a crowd favorite – these curious fish often approach divers and can get surprisingly large, with some of the older specimens reaching over 100 pounds. They're most active during morning dives when they're hunting, and you'll often find them lurking in ledges and overhangs. The best part about grouper is their personality – they'll actually follow you around and seem genuinely interested in what you're doing. Angel fish are another staple you'll see on almost every dive here. These colorful reef residents come in several varieties, from the smaller gray angels to the stunning queen angels with their electric blue and yellow patterns. They're year-round residents but show their brightest colors during spawning season in late spring. Watch for their cleaning behavior around coral heads – it's fascinating to observe. Barracuda patrol our waters in schools that can number in the hundreds during peak season. Don't let their toothy reputation scare you – they're generally just curious about divers and make for some epic photo opportunities when they form those classic silvery walls. Early morning dives are prime time for barracuda encounters as they hunt in the cooler water.

Plan Your Next Dive

This private 2 tank charter offers something you won't get on crowded dive boats – personal attention, flexible scheduling, and the ability to dive at your own pace. Whether you're looking to build confidence, practice skills, or just want a relaxing morning underwater without the rush of a big group, this trip delivers. The one-on-one format means we can adjust our plan based on conditions, your interests, and what marine life is active that day. Plus, with the option to snorkel instead of scuba, it's perfect for mixed-certification couples or anyone who wants to stay flexible. Ready to get underwater? Let's set up your morning dive charter and explore what's waiting beneath the surface. Book now and we'll customize the perfect diving experience just for you.
